The SSC Developmental Program is a continuation and extension of our Intramural Program that offers an unparalleled soccer experience and is open to ALL players.

The program is designed to build a solid technical foundation by focusing on exciting skill training and small-sided games in the 4v4 format to boost player confidence and allow them more “touches” of the ball.

Our curriculum is based on maximum ball contact, weekly training skills and themes, and expert coaching.

All within a fun and age-appropriate environment!

One of the key components to this overall goal is to have the entire age group train and play its games as a pool each week to provide consistency with the teaching of the game for all.  Players will be rotated through a series of roster moves each week to provide equal opportunities.

Each pool will be assigned a Lead Professional Trainer who will facilitate all age group decisions, including the week-to-week roster assignments, development of training sessions, and communication with the parents.

SSC Developmental Program Features:

The developmental program is a ten-month comprehensive program that includes training and coaching of games by licensed youth coaches.

• Training 2x a week in Fall & Spring seasons (1-hour 15-minute sessions) at Stillwell Woods Park
• U7 age group six to eight 4v4 “games” in a festival-like event that offers match conditions against teams from different clubs in the Fall and Spring, played on Sunday mornings
• U8 age group, six to eight 7v7 “games” in a festival-like event that offers match conditions against teams from different clubs in the Fall and Spring 
• Minimum 10 Winter Indoor Training Sessions
• Evaluations for the program take place in early June. 

Costs associated with each pool are available upon inquiry.   We have found, in comparison to surrounding clubs, our costs to run a team are reasonable and often more competitive than our neighbors for the services provided.

Fees go towards player insurance, field maintenance, field lining, facilities rental, equipment, professional fees, electronic services, and general and administrative fees.
